Project 52 - Week 46:Water

Another one bites the dust! This one I had a head start as I already knew what my image was going to be. I just had to wait for the theme and then find a way to incorporate it in!

Bran really got my creative side working overtime, what a wonderful subject he is! Even while creating last weeks image I already knew I HAD to create this one, and there is one more image to come yet.

As with most of these images I started this one as per usual. On the internet! Also having recalled several movies I have watched repeatedly with the "mythical" theme. Movies such as Clash of The Titans, honestly this movie never gets old for me.

The Lord of the Rings(The Two Towers) made an appearance as well over the weekend with ShadowFax, the Lord of all Horses. For those that have not seen it, and, enjoy the fantasy genre you will not be disappointed, here is an exerpt from lotr.wikia regarding ShadowFax.

Shadowfax was "the Lord of all horses". He was a descendant of Felaróf, of the race of the long-lived Mearas, the greatest horses of Middle-earth. Shadowfax was capable of comprehending human speech and was said to run faster than the wind. Originally belonging to the House of Eorl, Lord of Rohan, Shadowfax was too wild to be tamed by the Rohirrim. Eventually he was given to Gandalf the White by Théoden, the 17th king of Rohan.

Shadowfax's coat is described as silvery-grey in daylight and hardly to be seen at night.""

And none of that will make a bean of sense if you haven't seen the movie/s I refer to.

It is no secret I have a vivid imagination, 99.9% of the time this is an absolute blessing.... occasionally, just occasionally though this active imagination fail safe doesn't switch off and I can literally be up all night thinking thinking thinking!

It just so happens that this week, I didnt have to worry about that as Sapphire took centre stage as she had a period of two days unwell. Neither of us slept much at all in that 48hrs, but shes on the mend now!

With her laying beside me feeling very under the weather this image took form, starting with an ocean scene as the base then adding in waves, seafoam and mist. The electrical storm was added and Bran was placed smack bang in the middle of all of the action, looking as god like as he possibly could be. Before all that could happen though, I started work on an image of Bran, some very careful cutting/masking and merging of images gave me just what I was looking for(thanks again Pixabay!)

So here he is! In all his glory!

"Poseidon's Child"

For now, I am going to leave things here. I have a lot of lost sleep to catch up on so Saffy and I are calling it an early night tonight!

Thanks for reading folks!
